Web Applications F.A.Q.
|

|
Q.
What if someone forgets to log out of the software?
|
|
A.
The software counts sessions. If a user has not used the software for
an hour the session expires.
|
|
Q.
We purchased your web software. Since I am the only one using
it
now why is it saying "The number of users have exceeded your license"?
|
|
A. When
you are finished using the web software you should
always properly log out. To log out simply
click the Log Out hyperlink from the top of the main screen.
Logging out is important because it will
delete your session, allowing another person to access the software. If
you do not properly log out and the maximum
number of people are using the software, no one else will be able to
use the software until your session expires
in an hour. Note that simply closing your browser will not delete your
session.
To resolve the problem for now
delete all the session files from the Temp folder.

Q. When I try to run your web software as a service why do I get an error?
|
|
A. You have
probably installed the web software into a folder that contains spaces.
You can try to install to a folder containing no spaces or modify the
registry entry to enclose the executable path in quotation marks. See Microsoft KB Article ID: 812486

|
|
A.
We use the Elevate DB database engine for all our Windows
business
applications. The DBISAM database engine was used in our older business
applications.

|
Q.
Can you recommend a good host that will
host your web applications?
|
|
A. We have
heard very good things about www.Defined.net.
