Beef Up Your Windows Clipboard with Clipboard Magic!

CyberMatrix Corporation has released version 3.00 of Clipboard Magic, a free Windows Clipboard extender. If you spend a lot of time cutting and pasting repetitive text, Clipboard Magic can greatly improve your productivity.

By default any text copied to the Windows Clipboard is automatically stored in Clipboard Magic. The text can range from a single line to several pages. At the click of the mouse any item is automatically copied back to the Windows Clipboard allowing you to paste the text in any Windows compatible document.

Features include text drag and drop between other Windows applications, search and replace, series paste hotkeys and clip sorting. The series paste feature works by pressing a hot key to sequentially paste successive item in the clip list. Clipboard Magic also has multi-language capabilities.

The automatic clipboard archiving can be turned off. This feature is useful when manually editing the clipboard list. Clipboard lists can be saved to external files for reloading at a later time. A list of all clip lists are conveniently accessible from the menu. Another very handy feature of Clipboard Magic is that entire text files can be imported into the program.

Clipboard Magic is small, fast and unobtrusive. By default the program runs from the Windows System tray allowing quick and easy access. Clipboard Magic can be configured to automatically start when Windows starts and to start minimized. Options also exist to have the program always stay on top and to automatically load a specified clip file when the program starts.

Clipboard Magic runs on Windows 95, 98, 2000 and NT 4.0. System requirements: 486, 8 MB RAM and 2 MB hard disk space.
