CyberMatrix Point of Sale v4 Released
CyberMatrix Corporation has released version 4 of CyberMatrix
Point
of Sale, an easy to use Windows-based retail
sales management application. This latest release contains several
important new
features. The software now has support for layaways, serial number
tracking, individual item price overrides, expense entry and text
messaging.
Businesses that sell goods, services or a combination of the
two
can use CyberMatrix Point of Sale to manage their retail operations. The software has four
different retail sale entry methods: invoice entry/pickup, quick sale,
customer sale and touch sale. CyberMatrix
Point of Sale features inventory tracking and serial number tracking. Retail store chains
can install the server application to share data between
the different
stores. The inventory tracking feature records exactly what
stock is on hand and indicates when re-orders are necessary. The
software includes many pre-built reports but customers can modify these
reports or even build new ones. CyberMatrix Point of Sale is designed
to run on an ordinary Windows PC
with a receipt printer. A bar code scanner, cash tray, pole display, touch screen and credit card merchant account are optional.
CyberMatrix Point of Sale runs on Windows XP,
2003
server, Vista,
2008
server and Windows 7. System requirements: 512 MB
RAM and 20 MB hard disk space. The server application requires at least
1 GB RAM. CyberMatrix Point of Sale CE runs on most Windows Mobile
devices.
CyberMatrix Point of Sale costs $300 (US) for a single-seat
license. Multi-seat and site licenses are
available. A fully functional time-limited trial edition can be
obtained free of charge from cybermatrix.com.
