Press Release: CyberMatrix Employee Scheduler v3
Released
CyberMatrix has released version 3.00 of
CyberMatrix Employee Scheduler. Employee Scheduler is an easy
to
use single or multi-user software application for creating and
managing employee
work schedules. Several important
new features have
been included in this release. Schedules can now repeat every two weeks
or more. Locations can be assigned to schedules and employees. The
locations employees are assigned to work at can be given a priority.
Particular requirements such as:
no males can work at a specific location or must be able to lift 50+
pounds can be assigned to locations and employees. Employees can be
assigned tasks to be completed. Employees can now send and
receive messages through the Employee Scheduler program. Finally, the
software has been tweaked to work better with Windows 7.
Employee
schedule administrators can save time by using Employee Scheduler to
automatically generate optimal work schedules for their employees.
Managers can assign employees into categories and preferred locations,
enter their day/time availability and
scheduling priority in order to affect the generated
schedules. After automatic scheduling has completed, the schedules
can be easily tweaked graphically with the
manual scheduling features. Locations and employees can be
optimally matched with specific requirements. Managers can
optionally rotate schedules by employee or by shift. You can manage
holidays,
leave and sick days with the schedule exception features. Employees can
use the software to request time off from their manager. The software
even has a time clock that records
when employees arrive and leave for the day.
Employee
Scheduler sports an attractive intuitive display of the employee
schedules. You can view the schedule by single employee, by
all
employees, by week, by employees in the week and by month. You can
filter the
schedule by
day, or employee. Employee Scheduler is multi-user ready. The software
can share
employee schedule data over a network amongst multiple employees. The
CSV import/export
feature allows data to be imported into other programs. Other
database applications can access employee schedule data using the
separate ODBC driver.
Employee Scheduler
runs on Windows ME, XP, 2003 Server, Vista, 2008 Server and
Windows 7. System requirements: 512 MB RAM and 30 MB hard disk
space.
Employee Scheduler costs $100 (CDN/US) for a single
license. Multi-seat and site licenses are available. Non-profit
organizations
are eligible for a 10% discount. Screen shots, a Flash demo and a
fully-functional time-limited trial edition can be
obtained free of charge from
