Replace that dusty old time card machine with Employee Proj Clock!

CyberMatrix Corporation has released version 1 of Employee Proj Clock, an easy to use employee project time tracking tool.

Employee Proj Clock is useful for companies that must keep track of their employee's time. This software is ideal for companies involved in control engineering, manufacturing, automation, tool and die shops and other job shops. Time can be accurately billed by employee, project and by job code. Reports summarize all billed project time for the given time period. Project costs and schedules can be maintained through the project management and expense features. Those companies currently using old-fashioned time-cards or manual time recording will find their productivity and accuracy greatly improved when using Employee Proj Clock.

If needed, Employee Proj Clock allows multiple people to use the program over a network. Administrators may setup the security option so that users can see and edit only their own time data. Employee Proj Clock also contains a powerful custom reporting feature. With the custom reporting tool, those who need additional reports can easily build their own.

Employee Proj Clock is easy to use. A person simply chooses their name and an optional project and job code. Time billing is started by pressing the In button. To stop billing, one enters an optional comment and presses the Out button. Time data is safely stored in the database for later reporting purposes.

Employee Proj Clock contains several useful features including project pause and day punches. With a single key combination, the pause feature allows for the convenient pausing and resumption of project billing. Unlike ordinary punching out, pausing does not clear the project comments. This feature comes in very handy when a person needs to take a short break from a project but will not be switching to another project.

The day punch features allow someone to quickly punch out for a lunch break or even an entire day. Employee Proj Clock has a facility to store the normal working day hours as well as holiday hours. When the working day times have been entered, it is possible to quickly break for lunch even if you forgot to punch out before your lunch started. If you worked off-site on a single project for an entire day, when you return you can use the Day Punch feature to punch in an entire days work using a few clicks of the mouse. To do this you simply change the date to the day you worked off-site and then select the Day Punch feature from the menu, automatically you are punched in and out according to your normal working day hours.

Employee Proj Clock also allows entering blocks of hours spent on a project. This feature is useful if someone has been away from the computer for a short period and was not able to punch in and out normally.

Employee Proj Clock has a very convenient data backup feature. All time data can be backed up manually when desired, or automatically at a configurable time interval. Old time data may also be easily archived. Any of the data tables may be exported to CSV format for use in spreadsheets or other programs that use this common data format. If desired, the raw time data may be queried using ordinary SQL calls.

Employee Proj Clock runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0 and 2000. System requirements: 486, 8 Mb RAM and 4 Mb hard disk space.

Employee Proj Clock costs $45 (US) for a single-user license. Network and site licenses are available. Time-limited trial versions can be obtained free of charge from http://www.cybermatrix.com.
