Pro Sched: Easy appointment scheduling for professionals!

CyberMatrix Corporation has released version 3.00 of Pro Sched, a Windows-based software package for scheduling people's appointments.

Pro Sched is ideal for professionals such as doctors, dentists and lawyers who must keep track of many different appointments. The software can be used by a single person or by a group of people that wish to share appointment data. The main goal behind Pro Sched is to make appointment scheduling simple. You won't get lost among countless crowded screens. You'll get just what you need to schedule appointments quickly.

In this latest release the scheduling interface has been greatly improved by adding a more flexible scheduling grid. The reporting engine has been replaced and the software now includes a custom reporting feature to allow users to modify existing reports or build their own. The database engine has been upgraded to provide more advanced SQL querying and a lower resource footprint. A PalmOS conduit is also now available. This conduit allows appointment data to be synchronized with handheld computers running the Palm operating system.

There are three different flavors of Pro Sched: Standard, Client/Server, and Web. The Standard and Client/Server versions have a simple intuitive graphical interface, but the Client/Server version is better suited for large numbers of users. Both the Client/Server and Web versions can be used with multiple users accessing schedule data over the company intranet or even the Internet. Pro Sched Web allows appointments to be accessed by any web browser on virtually any operating system, not just Windows.

Pro Sched runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP. System requirements: Pentium, 32 MB RAM and up to 20 MB hard disk space. For the Client/Server and Web versions a Pentium server with at least 64 MB of RAM is recommended.

Pro Sched costs $100 (US) for the Standard version, $200 (US) for the Client/Server version, and $100 (US) for the Web version. Affordable multi-license packages are also available. Screen shots and fully functional 60 day trial versions can be found at http://www.cybermatrix.com.
