CyberMatrix Timesheets Version 3 Released

CyberMatrix Corporation has released version 3 of CyberMatrix Timesheets, an easy to use Windows-based timesheet entry application. Version 3 of Timesheets contains several important improvements.  The most significant change in version 3 is the addition of Microsoft Project export features. Now project data can be conveniently exported to Microsoft Project without the need for re-keying. In addition, timesheet data can now be entered for a full month at a time instead of just one week at a time. The timesheet entry form now has totals to show total time entered for the day and the whole week or month. Timesheets Web administrators can now change configuration options and manage data right from the browser. Finally, a new enterprise version of Timesheets Web that can connect to virtually any database server is also now available.

Timesheets has five different versions to accommodate the needs of various customer types. Timesheets comes in Standard, Client/Server, Enterprise, Web and Enterprise Web versions. The Standard, Client/Server and Enterprise versions have a simple intuitive graphical interface. While the Standard version can be used with multiple users over a network, the Client/Server and Enterprise versions are better suited for large numbers of users. Only the Enterprise versions can be scaled up to handle massive user loads. Timesheets Enterprise integrates with virtually any large database server, including Microsoft SQL Server. The Client/Server, Enterprise and Web versions can be used with multiple users accessing employee time data over the company intranet or even the Internet. Timesheets Web allows employee time data to be accessed from any web browser on virtually any operating system, not just Windows.

Timesheets runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP and 2003 server. System requirements: Pentium, 32 MB RAM and 20 MB hard disk space. For Timesheets Client/Server we recommend a dedicated NT4, W2K, XP or 2003 server with 500 MB RAM and power backup to host the Timesheets server application. Timesheets Enterprise requires a database server such as Microsoft SQL server, MySQL or PostreSQL. Timesheets Web requires a web server running Windows that can serve Windows executable CGI scripts. A dedicated Windows NT, 2000, XP or 2003 server is recommended. The clients require only a web browser.

Timesheets Standard, Web and Web Enterprise costs $35 (US) for a single-user license, Timesheets C/S and Enterprise costs $55 (US) for a single license. Multi-user and site licenses are available. Time-limited trial versions can be obtained free of charge from cybermatrix.com.
