Beef Up Your Windows Clipboard with Clipboard Magic!
CyberMatrix Corporation has released version 2.01 of Clipboard Magic, a free Windows Clipboard extender. If you spend a lot of time cutting and pasting repetitive text, Clipboard Magic can greatly improve your productivity.
Clipboard magic has received the coveted five star award from ZD-Net. Read the review at:
Completely Free Software gave five doves calling it "the best yet Clipboard memory/stacker". See:
By default any text copied to the Windows Clipboard is automatically stored in Clipboard Magic. The text can range from a single line to several pages. At the click of the mouse any item is automatically copied back to the Windows Clipboard allowing you to paste the text in any Windows compatible document.
The automatic clipboard archiving can be turned off. This feature is useful when manually editing the clipboard list. Clipboard lists can be saved to external files for reloading at a later time. Another very handy feature of Clipboard Magic is that entire text files can be imported into the program.
Features include text drag and drop between other Windows applications, series paste hotkeys and clip sorting.
Clipboard Magic is small, fast and unobtrusive. By default the program runs from the Windows System tray allowing quick and easy access. Clipboard Magic can be configured to automatically start when Windows starts and to start minimized.
Options also exist to have the program always stay on top and to automatically load a specified clip file when the program starts.
Clipboard Magic runs on Windows 95, 98 and NT 4.0. System requirements: 486, 8 Meg RAM and 2 Meg hard disk space.
Clipboard Magic is free. The latest version can be obtained from http://www.cybermatrix.com.
